Philanthropy: Transforming Lives, One Act of Kindness at a Time

Welcome to the heart of One Culture

Were our commitment to creating positive change goes beyond the beauty of handmade treasures. In this philanthropy section, we invite you to delve deeper into the pressing issues faced by the resilient families and women in Guatemala. Basic necessities like doors, walls, and proper kitchens are luxuries they can scarcely afford. The infrastructure is fragile, mirroring the fragility of their daily existence. Your support here transcends a simple donation; it becomes a lifeline for those struggling against the odds.

LISI: Empowering Women Through Education

Enter the School of LISI – a beacon of hope for over 15 women seeking a path to empowerment. LISI stands as a testament to resilience and determination, a little poor public school bravely facing the immense challenges that loom over Guatemala's educational landscape.

In a country where corruption prevails, LISI stands alone, unsupported by the government. The high levels of corruption in Guatemala have left this small public school grappling with financial strains, limited resources, and a lack of essential infrastructure. As each year passes, the challenges mount, making it increasingly difficult for LISI to fulfill its mission. No internet, no computers, and a lack of teachers. Many students struggle to attend due to transportation barriers, residing in remote areas beyond the mountains.

Fighting Child Malnutrition Through Sustainable Agriculture: The Philip Forrer Technique:

We believe in empowering communities from within. To address the root cause of malnutrition, we're introducing the Phillip Foree technique. This initiative teaches families and children to cultivate their land efficiently, growing and harvesting their own food sustainably. I had the privilege of personally working with Phillip Foree on the garden, learning his techniques firsthand. With his methods, it takes only 4 - 6 hours to prepare the soil. Remarkably, with minimal care or watering, the fruits and vegetables of this labor yield bountiful harvests that can effortlessly sustain entire families. This not only eliminates the necessity to buy food but also imparts invaluable lessons of responsibility and sustainability to the children.

With your support, we aim to break the chains of dependency, providing families with the means to feed their children without the constant struggle for financial resources.
