Welcome the One Culture Project
About Me
I’m Rafael, born and raised in Guatemala.
This project isn’t something I created out of nothing — it comes from where I come from, from the people who shaped my childhood, from the women I grew up seeing work with so much love, patience, and strength.
All my life I’ve watched these amazing women create beautiful pieces by hand using natural dyes from plants, seeds, flowers, fruits, even volcanic earth.
They carry an entire culture in their hands, but they rarely receive the value or recognition they deserve.
When I started this project, it wasn’t about making a business.
It was about giving back.
About honoring the women behind the craft.
About protecting a tradition that means so much to me and to Guatemala.
I filmed 360° videos, interviews, the whole process because I wanted you to feel the same connection I feel when I’m there.
The warmth, the humility, the humanity.
The real Guatemala.
One Culture is my way of building a bridge between my roots and the world between the artisans and the people who want to support something meaningful.
The Project
One Culture works with women artisans in Guatemala who create everything by hand using natural dyes and ancestral Mayan techniques.
Because every piece is unique, it’s impossible to upload them all.
The idea is simple:
you support the project, and you receive a surprise piece from accessories and scarves to caps, dresses, or ponchos.
Every support level creates real impact.
Every thank-you gift carries history.
Every contribution helps a real family I’ve known my whole life.
My Mission
My mission is simple but powerful:
- Support single mothers and families in Guatemala
- Give artisans real recognition and fair income
- Keep ancestral Mayan dyeing and weaving traditions alive
- Fight the materialistic mindset we’re stuck in today
- Inspire people to value handmade, cultural, and sustainable work
- Build a global community that cares more about meaning than materialism
For me, this is not “content” or “marketing.”
These are my people.
This is my culture.
This is personal.
My Vision
I imagine a world where:
- Handmade is valued again
- Social impact is part of everyday life
- People choose purpose over trends
- Traditions are respected and celebrated
- Communities support each other across borders
- Artisans are seen as creators, not labor
One Culture is not just a project it’s a movement.
A movement to make kindness normal again.
A movement to respect the hands that create.
A movement that starts small, but grows with every person who decides to support.
My vision is to build something bigger than me something that empowers families, protects culture, and inspires people to make conscious choices.
In One Sentence
One Culture is my heart, my roots, and my mission to give these women the value they always deserved
and to bring the real Guatemala to the world, one act of kindness at a time.
We are One Culture
We are One World
We are Better Together
